Combat colds with echinacea
When you feel a cold coming on, take up to a teaspoon of echinacea tincture in a little warm water or juice every three to four hours. Drink plenty of clear fluids (try elderberry tea), get lots of rest, and reduce your intake of sugar and dairy products. Echinacea may reduce the severity and duration of colds and flu.
