Did you know that you can special order any product that is available to us, with no extra charge to you?  In fact, you can end up saving money!   Although we do not provide on-line purchases, we make every effort to find the product you are looking for.  As long as the product is available to us through our distributors, we can order it for you with no extra charge.  If you purchase a case amount of a non-sale item, you will receive 10% off per case.  Please call or visit our store to place a special order.

I was born in Lebanon. My father owned the town bakery. I learned everything from Hummus, BabaGanouj, Tabuleh, Lentil and Split Pea soups, Fish, Lamb, Wild Rice with Pine Nuts, Pita bread and pastries, all were part of our Mediterranean staple.  

Being in the restaurant business, I was exposed to American “comfort foods”.  I realized “you are what you eat”. I’ve come to embrace the idea of a healthier lifestyle and diet.

As a child I was exposed to natural and organic foods. My grand mother taught me to cook from scratch. As an adult I got a job at a natural foods store as a clerk. I worked my way up from Grocery Clerk to Accounts Payable, to Night Manager, to finally Grocery Buyer.  I have been at Village Health Market for over 3 years as Grocery Buyer. I enjoy helping customers find products in our store.

My meat cutting career started almost 30 years ago at Publix in 1979. I was Meat Manager at Castellano & Pizzo. My family started Land & Sea Market. I was a Night Manager at Whaley’s for 3 years and have been at Village Health Market for over 3 years. My passion is deliving the highest quality meat & sea food possible to my customers.
